The story behind Casa Coll

Casa Coll was a rebrand of an existing hotel group, inspired by the idea that guests should feel instantly at home. Rooted in Mediterranean values, the strategy celebrated a slower pace, thoughtful hospitality and a deep respect for place. Sustainability wasn’t a checklist but a way of living, driven by the belief that having fun should never come at the cost of the environment.

The first hotel was set to open in Palma de Mallorca, with plans to grow the brand internationally. Although the project didn’t launch, the result was a clear, characterful identity that captured the spirit of Mediterranean living with conscience.

The custom-drawn logo features clean, geometric forms that reflect the clarity and calm of Mediterranean living. It’s paired with a distinctive symbol that subtly weaves in the word ‘Coll’ while evoking the sea, sun and land of Mallorca.

Casa Coll’s handwritten typeface brings a sense of spontaneity and warmth to the brand identity. It captures the informal, human touch that defines Mediterranean life. Paired with the more structured elements of the system, it adds contrast and charm without feeling forced.
